I literally went to the Yellow Pages; found Bay Shore Construction, Inc.. I then made sure they are with the Better Business Bureau & the Tidewater Builder’s Association-they are! Then I looked to the web-they have a website! The mission statement grabbed me & I called immediately. It got even better: I said “Do you have the time or the interest in coming over and looking at this complete kitchen remodel?” TONY (THE Contractor who answers his own phone!!) says “Yes, I do, can we meet…”

The workmanship and detail is second to none. Tony oversees everything while you make all the decisions. The craftsmen are as professional and on time as one could ever want or expect. Everybody was as friendly as they could be. The materials are exactly what you order because you pick them out. Tony does not rest until you are happy with the job. I was so pleased with how my mother’s kitchen turned out, that I had the company do extra work there at my mom’s house. I then had them come to my house for work that needed to be done.

One of the great things about having Tony and company working for you is that you are not only getting a highly competent, trustworthy contractor, you are also getting a home inspector as well!

Tony built a two-story addition onto my house in Chesapeake and we couldn't be happier ti the result. Tony worked with me to get the look I wanted and the function I required, within my budget. Moreover, Tony ensured my project was completed according to my compressed schedule. In fact, Tony was able to complete my project early, and at no extra cost.

The extensive work, which included complete residing, enclosing a carport and replacing doors and decks, dramatically transformed the 1970s house into a modern showplace.  Your personal recommendations on finishes not only enhanced the street appeal, but kept our best interest in mind by also being cost effective.
